A Temporary Lie with Georgeanne Kalweit is the album title of the new project A Temporary Lie by Cesare Malfatti (LA CRUS, THE DINING ROOMS) with Georgeanne Kalweit (DELTA V, THE KALWEIT PROJECT). Guest musicians on album: Fabio Rondanini (CALIBRO 35, AFTERHOURS, SILVESTRI) on drums, Roberto Dell'Era (AFTERHOURS, THE WINSTONS) on bass, and Raffaele “Rabbo” Scogna (DIODATO, NIC CESTER, SELTON) on keyboards.

The album includes 8 songs that retrace personal experiences lived in these past couple difficult years in which everyone can find a part of themselves, living within a lie, hoping it will only be temporary. Themes revolve around feelings and lost loves, and sentiments and insecurities, but also certainties. These deep reflections, translated through a variety of musical languages, never come off as pure exercises in style for the sake of style alone, with references therefore to Rock, Blues, and Folk sprinkled with elegant, yet never invasive electronics. The sound thus transcends any genre thanks also to the exceptional band Cesare is accompanied by (guitars and programming) and Georgeanne (vocals), composed of Fabio Rondanini, Roberto Dell’Era and Raffaele “Rabbo” Scogna.
